Weeknotes #17
This week there’s loads more content from the Digital Culture Network, a VERY exciting new Tech Champion role and prep for a Spektrix webinar in the new year all about Google Analytics 4.
I also turned 40 🥳.
Digital Culture Network
As our new Tech Champions bed in, we’re starting to see a steam of new content coming from across the specialists.
Health check your email marketing strategy
First up, Jacqueline ran a webinar with Caspian Turner from Accessible by Design. It covered tips to make the most of your emails by focusing on accessibility, customer journeys, and all the ‘tions’ – segmentation, personalisation, automation, and optimisation.
Which social metrics should you be paying attention to?
Nicola’s first long form article for the Digital Culture Network was published this week, explaining all the different social media metrics and which ones are actually useful.
How to write a landing page headline that converts
Ollie wrote a great article about the key steps you should consider following to optimise your landing page headlines. Writing a landing page headline in 6 to 12 words is not as simple as it first appears but there is a straightforward process you can follow to move from a poor-performing headline, to one that works really well.
Recruiting: Accessibility Tech Champion
I’m so excited about this one! For the last three years we’ve had nine Tech Champions across different specialisms. We’re now expanding the team to ten and the new role will be focused on accessibility. This will be a fantastic addition to the team and in high demand across the cultural sector. We now have all the regions covered, so the Accessibility Tech Champion can be based anywhere in England.
If you or someone you know would be interested in the role please take a look at the recruitment page and job description.
Integrating Google Analytics 4 with Spektrix
On 11 January I’m delivering a webinar with Chris Unitt (One Further) and Yosaif Cohain (Capacity Interactive) all about transitioning and making the most of Google Analytics 4.
My bit is all about setting up and configuring GA4 with Tag Manager for Spektrix. It’ll be a whirlwind 12 minutes, so I’ve been writing an accompanying resource with step-by-step instructions.
If you’re using Spektrix, come along!
Some said this day would never come…
